The Free Jon McKenzie Band is an international Blues/Rock band featuring many styles including Reggae, high octane Funk, Afro Mandingo Riffs, Delta Grooves and many other influences.

The music features highly charged and spirited original songs and instrumentals, also including the ensemble's own interpretations of an array of classics.

The band features the legendary Maxi Freeman (WAFR) on guitar and lead vocals, Danne McKenzie (SWE) on drums and vocals and Jonathan Lawrence (AUS) on bass and vocals.

The combination of the musical styles between Maxi, Danne and Jonathan creates a chemistry of groove that explodes from the stage and moves audiences throughout the performance.
